Chrome is basically an edition of linux and that makes it available in a live cd version as well.
You can download the live cd (iso image) copy the files to a bootable usb/sd and boot your system from the usb. The OS being a live cd version will load into the RAM and run from there without touching you hard disk.
As for creating a bootable usb you can follow the standard process, use your OS feature or third party applications - whichever you prefer.
