It depends on the type of phone you want, but I think iPhone is the best.

I think BlackBerry in trouble. They have problems with their corporate level, hence they are not coming up with good models nowadays to stay ahead of the competition.
But their BlackBerry OS 10 looks very promising and looks amazing. So I would wait for BB OS10 devices to come out.
As for iPhone 4S is the only way to go others are just old.
In my opinion.. I would use iPhone 4S for my personal use and BlackBerry for business.

Not the blackberry. Pick up an iPhone (not on the AT&T network) and an Android. Get the iPhone for your mate and Android for yourself. Learn to use both. It's good to have multiple platforms within a household (unless it's blackberry, windows, etc...).

I would say none of them and go for an android phone. But if you had to chose between the 2 then go for iPhone.
